Pamlico Plantation property owners enjoy a wide range of amenities in a beautiful resort-like setting along Broad Creek and Pamlico River.
Every property owner enjoys all the amenities of our marina, and are invited to become members of the Pamlico Plantation Yacht Club (PPYC). It is not necessary to have a boat to join. The PPYC promotes boating, boating safety, cruising, racing and seamanship, plus encourages social interaction among its members with its great parties.
Clubhouse & Gazebo
The Pamlico Plantation clubhouse is the site of numerous community activities. Adjacent to the clubhouse is a gazebo equipped with picnic tables and barbecue grill. Both the clubhouse and gazebo can be rented for private parties.
Residents have the use of a large community pool overlooking Broad Creek.
Several exercise groups meet regularly at the Clubhouse, including Get Fit Aerobics and Water Aerobics. There are also numerous biking and walking routes our active residents enjoy.
Fishing & Crabbing
Bream, large and small mouth bass and catfish live in our three private ponds. Summer flounder, striped bass, sea trout, and saltwater fish mingle with fresh water fish in the brackish waters of our river and creeks. Crabbing from our docks is also a popular pastime.
Tennis & Pickle Ball
Tennis and pickle ball courts are available for residents’ enjoyment.
Children's Play Yard
For our youngest residents there is a fully equipped play yard adjacent to the tennis and pickle ball courts.
Books, magazines, DVDs, and CDs are just a few of the items that can be found at the Pamlico Plantation Library.
Camping & Hiking
Adjacent to Pamlico Plantation is Goose Creek State Park, which offers a wide variety of hiking trails, camping sites, and kayaking areas. Its nature center also hosts programs for both children and adults.
Wild turkey, deer, dove, duck, goose, and bear hunting are all just a stone’s throw away.
Groups, Clubs, & Comittees
There are numerous groups, clubs, and committees residents can join. These include book and hunting clubs; knitting and crocheting, bridge and Mah Jongg groups; and the Committee Relations Committee which welcomes newcomers and sponsors social activities throughout the year. There are also two men’s breakfast groups that meet weekly.
